RMJM has been invited to attend Empowering Architects this week, an exclusive event for AIA members. The event, held at the Mirage Project Point in the Dubai Design District on July 12th, is a crucial one in the Middle East and will feature a panel discussion, followed by one-on-one conversations between audience members and panelists. RMJM’s Arif Memhood will feature as a guest panelist and provide expert insight on the challenges in the region.

Arif has over 30 years of professional experience in overseeing a series of award-winning designs both at RMJM and in previous roles. He regularly speaks at conferences and teaches at universities in the UAE about architectural practice, design and project management.

Discussion topics at the event will include effectively communicating the value of your design, building or developing an independent practice, addressing professional challenges in the MENA region and working with local authorities. The event also allows for experienced professionals to discuss questions and challenges in their own practices as well as network with other architects.

To keep up with all RMJM-related activity at the event then make sure to follow our official Twitter page here.
