Rye Hill House acts as the northern gateway to the College campus and accommodates the administration departments and student services of Newcastle College. RMJM’s design incorporates the refurbishment of the B-listed historic Rye Hill House with an adjacent new build development to the side and rear. The historic fabric is separated from the new by triple height foyers and new circulation.
Specialist spaces are stacked alongside the entrance foyer, with flexible open-plan office space over four floors, providing panoramic views to the city centre. Cellular office space and meeting rooms are located in the refurbished historic building.
