RMJM was commissioned for Phase 1 of The Baha Mar Resort, a $2.6 billion mixed-use beach front resort metropolis located on New Providence Island near Nassau, Bahamas. The 1,000-acre project, a joint venture led by Baha Mar Resorts Ltd., will feature hotels by Rosewood, Morgans, and Hyatt in addition to a casino hotel with a 7,500 m² casino.
The resort complex will also include a signature Jack Nicklaus golf course, a convention centre and conferencing facility, a luxury spa, a 20-acre beach and pool experience, an upscale retail, dining and entertainment village venues as well as residences available for sale. When completed, the complex will boast a total of 3,500 guest rooms, making it the single largest resort in the Caribbean.
