Virginia State Capitol, USA
The historic Virginia State Capitol was originally designed by Thomas Jefferson and underwent a $70 million restoration and extension programme by RMJM in 2007.
This included the complete restoration of the 90,000 square-foot Capitol, the construction of a 25,000 square-foot extension, restoration of the Capitol Square landscape and, modernisation of the interior.
