University of Lincoln Brayford Campus, England

This masterplan was an ambitious project to create the first new university in the UK in 30 years. The first phase involved highly flexible academic and social space for 1,500 students within a single building.

The fully glazed north facade not only commands views across the marina to the cathedral, but provides a visual link between the occupants and the local community, actively promoting and encouraging engagement and widening participation.

The second phase of the development involved the design and implementation of a learning resource centre (LRC) and media facility in a single 10,000m² building with 1000 study spaces along with under graduate residences for 250 students.
