The de Havilland campus still represents the most ambitious new-build project in the UK Higher Education sector in recent years.
A vital part of RMJM's masterplan was to ensure that the new campus has clear and logical links to adjacent developments and to the university's existing campus at College Lane. The masterplan also provided a framework to enable the simultaneous construction of the two parallel projects which form the overall campus. An internal concourse is at the heart of the concept, linking this and future phases of development, and in the longer term the sports facilities and country park to the south.
