University Campus Suffolk Ipswich Hub, England
Phase 1 of the University Campus Suffolk Hub in Ipswich is a joint initiative between the University of East Anglia and the University of Essex. The 10,500 m² project provides a striking building on the waterfront that will set the standards for the future development of an integrated, student centred and sustainable campus. The design team have succeeded in completing the brief and design of this innovative, environmentally exemplary building which is on time and within the constraints of the budget, with an impressive build cost per m² of approximately £1,660.
RMJM has managed the team and process, meeting the challenging programme set by the client to open the University in September 2008.
