South Lanarkshire Council's Primary Schools Modernisation Programme, Scotland
RMJM is working with Kier Construction to design and deliver 13 primary schools in South Lanarkshire over a four year period.
RMJM's approach to primary school design is end-user focused, and results in buildings which are light, airy, colourful, playful, and non-institutional in feel. Schools have been developed individually in response to their site conditions, with distinct identities that maximize views and reflect a child's perspective.
