Faced with the combined challenge of offering a growing number of patients a wider array of healthcare services, Pennsylvania State University selected RMJM to design a new student health and counselling centre. The new 6,000m² building is easily accessed from any point on campus and reiterates the university's commitment to student health and wellness.
The glass front creates an inviting space where students can drop-in and schedule an appointment on their way to class. While passing through, students can even grab a cup of coffee and be introduced to all the health-related resources available to them, including online appointment set-up, a full-service pharmacy, health education resource library and seminar area.
