Mont Orchid Riverlet Phase Two, China
Mont Orchid Riverlet Phase Two is a residential development consisting of 13 luxury apartment towers and three townhouse blocks. The brief called for a new community character which complemented the earlier Phase One, forming the distinctive identity of the Mont Orchid Riverlet development.
Phase two comprises a total of 541 units ranging from 170m² 4-bedroom apartments to 350m² townhouse units with private swimming pools. The site is separated along the east-west axis by an existing green belt which connects to Phase One and the mountain trails beyond. The ground floor level is unenclosed with a minimal number of structural elements reaching the ground. This, along with placing the 1,800m² clubhouse semi-underground helps the development achieve green area coverage of over 50%.
Mont Orchid Riverlet Phase Two won the HKIA Annual Awards 2007 "Medal of the Year Outside Hong Kong".
