Duke University/National University of Singapore Graduate School of Medicine, Singapore
Duke University Medical School and the National University of Singapore created a joint venture to develop and operate a US-style graduate medical school on the SingHealth campus in central Singapore. Designed to accommodate from 50 to 100 medical students, the ten-storey building contains academic, research and administrative spaces.
Fostering collaboration and creating a campus heart were key objectives in the design of the central atrium, tying library and academic spaces at ground level with principal investigators and post-doctorates on the research floors above.
