Drill Hall Library, Universities at Medway, England
This new educational campus is located on the historic dockyard near Chatham Maritime in Kent. The new .Universities at Medway. is a unique partnership between the University of Kent, University of Greenwich, Canterbury Christchurch University and Mid-Kent College, and aims to increase student numbers in Medway to more than 10,000 by 2012.
The Drill Hall Library sits at the heart of a master plan and houses the new library for the campus in a single 180m long clean span space with support functions and teaching classrooms housed in 3 connecting blocks along the north side of the building.
