RMJM's designs for the 400-bed Coney Island Hospital bring the entire hospital into line with current standards for design and for medical practice.
The initial upgrade plan for the hospital involved a phased seven-year construction plan. RMJM's plans allowed this timeframe to be significantly compressed and included the creation of a new patient care facility, the renovation of the existing hospital building and a masterplan to guide future development of the hospital site.
