RMJM's proposal for the integrated township, Estancia, in Chennai creates a sustainable 'live-work' development that serves as an urban landmark and vibrant community destination.
The scheme aims to maximize the site's development potential, respect and integrate nature and act as a catalyst for vitalising the district. The masterplan for the 77-acre site includes a number of zones which are connected via the central landscaped spine and natural waterscapes that cross the project.
Additionally open and semi-covered public spaces throughout the scheme encourage connection between the inhabitants and the natural environment and assist with the creation of a lively sustainable environment.
