Designed by RMJM with architect Charles Correa of India, the Champalimaud Foundation Research Institute brings cancer research and clinical care together in a world-class, state-of-the-art facility.

Promoting interaction between scientific investigators and experienced clinical technicians, the design for the 50,000m² Institute includes translational research laboratories and clinical space. The public administrative areas and general building include offices for the Foundation, a conference centre, gallery, restaurant and cafeteria. Phase Two sees the addition of a 100-bed hospital with surgery, intensive care and training facilities.
