RMJM has developed a campus masterplan for a joint education initiative at Craigie Campus in Ayr.
The campus will include facilities for the Scottish Agricultural College and University of West ofScotland. RMJM has worked with the clients to create a co-location strategy that will achieve space efficiency while still maintaining distinct identities of each institution.
RMJM is also designing new media, education and health facilities for the University. The landmark building design will complement the spectacular parkland and riverside setting by the creation of new 'living classrooms' and the use of materials sympathetic to the surroundings.
The project aims to achieve a BREAM 'Excellent' rating for both Design/Procurement and Post-Construction stages.
