Overview

Vale de Anhangabau is an urban area in downtown São Paulo that is to be regenerated with guidance of RMJM Brazil’s principals. This project holds special significance for the city of São Paulo as it has suffered from degradation for over two decades.

The project, selected in a public bidding process, seeks to renew the existing structures, adding meaning and value to an area already filled with so much character.

Vale de Anhangabau will be readapted allowing for contemporary use in a historical space.

While the project can be seen as a symbol of Brazil’s emerging status, it also recognises the new functional and technological status of São Paulo itself.
