Overview

The Translational Research Centre at the Garscube Estate (Bearsden) provides both the University of Glasgow and the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research with a key strategic development opportunity, enriching the research programme through the provisdion of world class facilities.

Located in the West of Scotland, the Centre supports research activity and informs future avenues of exploration alongside other research bodies/organisations. The building was one of the first in the UK to incorporate anodised artwork on its exterior cladding.

The key Medical Faculty requirement for the new facility was a quality end product, both functionally and aesthetically exceptional while taking advantage of the chosen site through inspirational design. The facility attracts and retains the very best quality staff and students wishing to excel in the Cancer Science world.
