RMJM designed the Beijing International Convention Center within Beijing Olympic Park. The International Broadcast Center (IBC), located within this precinct, was the tele-visual and broadcasting nerve center for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
Television studios from all countries of the world were based within this complex to facilitate the required ‘live’ and recorded broadcasts necessary for the event.
Administration areas, TV studios, retail, restaurant facilities, transportation malls and broadcast satellite farms were all allowed to be accommodated within the design.
