Stephen Cutler joined RMJM in 1996 and became a director in 2008. Completed projects with include the Glaxo Wellcome headquarters building and the Henry Welcome Building for Gene Function at the University of Oxford. Stephen also worked on the refurbishment of the Drill Hall and Pilkington Buildings and the new Medway Building, all at the University of Kent at Medway, England.

Stephen's work on the Medway Building earned a Civic Trust Award as well as the Best New Building Award and Development Control Award at the Kent Design Awards, whilst the refurbished buildings won the best renovation award.

A member of ARB and RIBA, and a contributor to the Visual Dictionary of Architecture, Stephen received a BA Honours from the University of Central England and a Post Graduate Diploma (Hons) in Architecture from Oxford Brookes University.
