Philip Palmgren joined RMJM in 2009 as an Associate Principal and is based in New York. He was promoted to Managing Principal of the Commercial studio in 2010. Philip's previous project experience includes the management of the design and approval process for the Columbia University Manhattanville Campus Master Plan and the architecturally significant Time Warner Center both in New York City.

His extensive experience in urban master planning, transportation and large-scale commercial Mixed- Use architecture are typified by his experiences on the Suntrans Master Plan in Beijing, Saadiyat Island Cultural District Master Plan in Abu Dhabi, Continental Airlines Terminal C3 in Newark, NJ and 250 East 57th Street Academic/Commercial Mixed Use project in New York City.

Philip received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Clemson University and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University. He is a member of both the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards
