Peter Morrison joined RMJM as a non-executive director in 2003 and was appointed CEO in 2006. He has led the Group through a period of dynamic and strategic international expansion particularly focusing on rapidly emerging and global markets.

He studied law at the University of Dundee and, after graduating, attended the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst before joining the British Army Infantry Regiment, The Royal Scots, where he reached the rank of Captain. Peter gained an MBA from Imperial College, London in 2001. Since then, his professional focus has been on corporate finance and M&A.

As Group Chief Executive Peter led RMJM's 2007 merger with USA-based Hillier Architecture and he and his management team are widely credited with turning RMJM into a renowned global design house - inside the world's top ten architectural firms - which consistently wins high-profile projects around the world.

Recognised as a leader on the broader issues affecting the industry, Peter is at the frontline of the debate about leadership skills, talent and diversity in the urban design professions and has established strong links between RMJM and the University of Harvard in the USA and the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust in the UK.
