We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, who is fluent in both Mandarin and English, with a proven track record in leading teams on large-scale, international, commercial projects. The Senior Project Manager, reporting to the Principal in Charge, assumes the full responsibility of project overview, monitoring and control of the design delivery process. The Senior Project Manager works with project design and technical leaders throughout all phases of service, to establish and accomplish project objectives. The Senior Project Manager will assist the Principal in Charge in achieving project and office goals.

Position Responsibilities:

- Prepare and administer the Owner-Architect agreement and amendments consistent with written proposals and information reviewed with the client.
- Negotiate the fees, contracts, additional service changes, and schedule with the client.

- Prepare agreements for and administer control of all RMJM-appointed sub-consultants and schedule their work and milestones.
- Monitor the progress of the project to determine percent completed versus money spent, versus budget.
- Establish the task schedule and manpower requirements consistent with project agreement.
- Monitor work in progress to ensure RMJM project team compliance with all project milestones.
- Set up and maintain all project communications and protocols.
- Work with the Project Architects to ensure all documentation of construction permits are filed with appropriate agencies and all approvals are received prior to closing project.
- With the Project Architects attend and direct all project meetings in-house, with the client, sub-consultants, and the contractor.

-Review contractor requisitions, bulletins, change orders and certificates of payment and present recommendation to client.
- Prepare and manage project financials with finance department; review and approve all invoices, monitor project accounts payable and assist in collection and/or adjusting unpaid balances.
- Identify and quantify tasks that are outside of the scope of the Owner-Architect agreement for review with the client.
- Establish and maintain relationship with the client’s representative to ensure continuous client satisfaction with quality of service.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field required.
- Architectural licensure strongly preferred.

- Fifteen years minimum experience as a professional architect with at least three years previous experience as a project manager of large, complex projects required.-Demonstrated understanding of the architectural process from proposal and contract negotiations through contract administration verifiable by reference.
- Demonstrated understanding of NY architectural design process.
- Demonstrated understanding of Chinese design and building process.
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills required; specifically with clients and consultants, regarding design, technical, and financial issues.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to project sites.
- Fluent Chinese/English language skills, both spoken and written.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the preparation and production of letters, qualifications packages, proposals, presentation materials, awards submissions, and competition entries, as well as the following tasks:

•    Market research
•    Scheduling and participating in strategy/ brainstorming sessions
•    Drafting content
•    Editing others’ written sections
•    Assembling drafts, scheduling revisions
•    Coordinating document production
•    Managing the follow-through activities (distribution, knowledge sharing, electronic and hardcopy filing)
•    Scheduling internal debriefing meetings to assess the process and the product

Other Responsibilities:

•    Works with the studio director/project manager to update departmental and firm-wide databases, including entering leads on the lead tracking system, entering projects into the project index, updating team member resumes and client lists
•    Prepares project descriptions and other reusable text
•    Prepares resumes
•    Works with other members of the department to maintain electronic files of text and graphic materials
•    Works with other members of the department to maintain hardcopy files of consultant information

Required Skills:

•    3-5 years experience within Architecture or Engineering industry
•    Software: InDesign, Deltek Vision, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
•    Familiarity with SF 330 forms
•    Ability to multitask in deadline driven environment
•    Organizational: ability to organize a document and a production process
•    Strategic: ability to position the firm for a specific project or target market
•    Teamwork: works well as a member of a team, pitches in to assist others
•    Client/customer service

Supervision:

The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager who is responsible for overall direction and departmental management, staffing, workload distribution and prioritizing, coaching and professional development, interacting with Studio Directors and Practice Area leaders for ‘big picture’ focus, and reporting to the Marketing Director.

The Graphic Designer, reporting to the Marketing Director, produces graphic design artwork for marketing, advertising, design competitions and public relations materials, uses graphic design technology and computer software to produce designs and layouts, coordinates in-house production and outside services. 

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Handle multiple projects with a variety of deadlines, using a broad range of mediums.
•    Following direction from the Marketing Director and takes responsibility for the design and delivery of diverse projects such as producing proposal covers and templates, PowerPoint shows, e-postcards and online media, trade show booth, competition boards and books  and internal graphic design needs.

•    Responsibilities include the design, layout, pre-press, production, and project management.
•    Collaborates with internal clients, architects, writers, photographers, Principals, Business Developers, and PR representatives.
•    Manages the scheduling of projects and meeting deadlines
•    Keeps supervisor informed of progress or need for assistance.
•    Additional duties as assigned.
